Getting StartedWhat is Dollar by Dollar Relief?
A community project built on a simple idea: lots of people doing something small together can make a real difference for one person. Each drawing selects one participant, and the community rallies around them.
Getting StartedDoes it cost anything to enter?
No. Entering is always free. We will never ask you to pay to participate.
EligibilityWho can enter?
Anyone who meets the eligibility requirements listed on the drawing, usually being at least 18 years old and living in the United States. Each drawing shows its own requirements before you enter.
EligibilityCan I enter more than once?
One entry per person per drawing. You're welcome to enter future drawings, too.
AccountsDo I have to create an account?
No. You can enter as a guest. An account just makes it easier to see your entries and reuse your details next time.
AccountsCan I enter as a guest?
Yes. Guest entry takes about a minute. You'll get a confirmation number to keep.
PrivacyWhy do I need a display name?
Your display name is the only thing shown publicly during the live drawing. It lets the community cheer you on without seeing your private details.
PrivacyCan my real name remain private?
Absolutely. Use your first name, a nickname, or initials as your display name. Your legal/contact name is only seen by the organizers.
PrivacyWhat happens to my information?
We use it only to run the drawing and contact you if you're selected. We never sell it, and we never show your contact details publicly.
DrawingsHow does the live drawing work?
We host the drawing on a livestream. The selection is made securely by the system first, then revealed with our Dollar Dash animation featuring Buck and Dolly.
DrawingsHow are participants selected?
Randomly, by a secure server-side process, not by the animation. Every drawing run is recorded in an audit log for transparency.
DrawingsCan the administrator remove an entry?
Only for rule violations such as duplicates or ineligibility. Every removal is recorded with a reason.
Being SelectedHow will I know if I am selected?
We'll reach out through the contact method you chose, right after the drawing. You must respond within 48 hours to keep your selection. Your display name will also appear on the live drawing.
Being SelectedDo I have to share my story publicly?
No. Sharing your story is completely optional. If the host invites you and you say no, that's okay, it doesn't affect your selection.
Being SelectedWhat happens if I cannot be contacted?
Selected participants have 48 hours to get in touch with the admin team. If we haven't heard from you within 48 hours, a replacement participant may be selected, and the reason is logged.
Community SupportHow can I help if I'm not entering?
Join the livestream, share the project, and show up for the selected participant when the community rallies.
Technical QuestionsI didn't get a confirmation, am I entered?
If you saw the 'You're In!' screen with a confirmation number, you're entered. Still unsure? Send us a question below with your display name.
